Ryoichi Kogi & Ai Takehara's Church Wedding June 4, 2005 |

On June 4, 2005, we had our first wedding at Kanto Christian
Church. The church was overflowing with beautiful spring colored
flowers and the day itself was awash with sunshine. From the
beginning to end, the ceremony was filled with the sweet fragrance
of blessings from our Lord Jesus.
The married couple met at an outreach meeting we had held at our
church and from the moment they met, they fostered the love that
they had for each other, especially on the part of Ryoichi for who
it was literally love at first sight. |

It has been Ai's hope to marry a Christian from the very start.
The Lord honored her hope and then answered her prayers by guiding
Ryoichi to our church. He met the Lord in this place and became
a Christian and the Lord then started binding their hearts together.
The Lord knows us inside and out and even knows who we are compatible
with. This couple has shown and proven to us that the Lord does
hear our prayers and sends us the right person at the right time
and that person will be the perfect one. How strangely wonderfully
miraculous and gracious Jesus is to us!
The couple's wedding has shown
us that the hope that we have in Jesus Christ is not in vain.
Our church worked together in the Lord to prepare the wedding
and we know that it has touched the hearts of those who attended.
We are so happy to see the birth of a new family within our
church! It will be our greatest joy in seeing Ryoichi and
Ai praise the Lord and serve Him together. God bless you two
abundantly in Jesus' name!! |
